Suhee is a photographer and herbalist. She has worked as an Editor of books on ecology and sociology topics, and has served as a volunteer for many like-minded organizations including the ‘Dumulmeori’ organic farming struggle, and ‘Rogpa’ organization for Tibetan refugees. Suhee has traveled throughout the Middle-East, Europe and Asia to engage with the traditional way of living, for which she won the grand prize in the traveling photography contest by Istanbul Cultural Center. Solo and group shows of Suhee’s work have taken place in Seoul and Yangpyeong. Suhee graduated from Sungkyunkwan University in 2007 with a degree in Journalism. Suhee’s Blog
글을 쓰고 사진을 찍고 허브를 다루고 아름다운 것을 손으로 만들어 퍼뜨리면서, 더욱 즐겁고 뜻있게 살아가고자 하는 사람. 신문방송학을 전공하고 출판사에서 편집자로 일하다가, 마음 깊숙이 행복한 삶을 찾아 주말텃밭을 시작했고 '자연농'에 대해 알게 되었다. 삶의 동반자가 된 패트릭 라이든과 함께 농부들의 이야기를 모아 담은 다큐멘터리 '자연농(Final Straw)'을 만들고 책 <불안과 경쟁 없는 이곳에서>를 펴냈다. 자연의 지혜를 이롭게 활용할 수 있는 허브를 공부해서 한국허브협회의 허벌리스트 1급 자격을 얻었고, <곰과 호랑이 허브>라는 이름으로 허브차 블렌딩, 허브 채집 산책, 아로마 워크숍 등 실생활 속에서 허브를 두루 잘 쓸 수 있는 방법을 안내하고 있다. https://blog.naver.com/vertciel
